San Francisco Bay Area activities

Audubon California’s work in the San Francisco Bay Area is intricately tied to the on-the-grounds work of the eight Audubon chapters around the Bay. These chapters compose Audubon’s foundation of citizen science, restoration, environmental education, and conservation in the San Francisco Bay Area. The chapters are engaged in many activities and provide diverse and ample opportunities to get involved, whether it’s attending a bird-walk, volunteering to do habitat restoration, providing public comment on environmental impact reports, or any number of other activities.

Use the calendar below to learn about activities going on in and around the Bay Area. The calendar includes information from each of the eight Audubon chapters in the area, as well as the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary and Audubon California’s San Francisco Bay Program. Deadlines and guidelines for public comment on key conservation projects are also provided.

You may view the calendar in its entirety, or you may select a subset of calendars to view by selecting from the menu menu provided next to the “Agenda” tab.
