Audubon Advocacy Day

Join us on June 16, 2020, in Sacramento

You’re invited to join us for Audubon Advocacy Day on June 16th in Sacramento.

Our elected officials need to hear from YOU! Audubon Advocacy Day is a critical moment to demonstrate our grassroots power by meeting face-to-face with state legislators to talk about California’s conservation priorities and speak up for the birds.

The exciting day includes advocacy training, briefings about the issues relevant to birds, and small group meetings with your legislators.

This year, we will be talking to our legislators about why these issues matter to birds:

  • Taking urgent action on climate change in California
  • Protecting and enhancing habitat for grassland birds
  • Protecting coastal habitats and birds from sea level rise

It’s critical that legislators know what is important to their constituents so they can make informed decisions that protect birds. To make it easy for you, we make the appointments with legislators and we visit them together in small groups.

Register for Audubon Advocacy Day today! If you have any questions, contact us at chapternetworkca@audubon.org.

This is a chance to move from concern to action so we can ensure a bright future for birds and people in California.

Join us and be a voice for birds!
