The return of Peregrine Falcons to Portland

No Peregrine Falcons were nesting in Portland in 1993, but after 20 years and an intensive recovery effort, the birds have established 11 nest sites within city limits. These sites include the Fremont Bridge, the state’s most productive peregrine nest. Learn about the Audubon Society of Portland's terrific work to help restore these magnificent birds to the skies over Portland.
