Black Oystercatcher
Today, the Black Oystercatcher is found mainly on the Pacific Coast of the U.S. and Canada. By the end of the century, the situation could be considerably more complex. A striking black bird with a bright orange beak, the Black Oystercatcher is a popular resident of the California coastline. It has been designated as Climate Endangered, and is projected to lose about 75% of its winter climate suitability range in California.
