Just got the word that the July 25 hearing at U.C. Irvine to hear the Transportation Corridor Agencies' appeal of the California Coastal Coastal Commission's February decision on the Orange County Toll Road has been officially cancelled. As we said earlier, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which is handling the hearing on behalf of the Secretary of Commerce, was doubtful it could hold the hearing given the large number of people expected at the site. As we said earlier, the window for offering written comments will begin Monday and run through Aug. 4. We'll send an Action Alert to our subscribers with more information about how to contact NOAA, and we'll have information here to that effect as well. So, stay tuned.
