Today, an Eastern Phoebe was spotted along the southern side of the Guadalupe Valley Creek. According to eBird data, the last time this species was seen in the area was back in 2007. It is a migratory bird that winters in southeastern part of the US and Central America. We can only guess what brought this little vagrant to the west coast.
