When we describe the Salton Sea as an accident, we not only ignore the truth, but we also undercut the severity of the predicament of the people in nearby communities.

Audubon California and members of its San Francisco Bay Committee win unanimous approval from the Tiburon Town Council to create interpretive signs along Richardson Bay. Over the last month Audubon California collected over 10,000 comments from individuals speaking out against any changes to our marine sanctuaries, including opening them up to resource exploitation and against new off shore oil drilling.
