Are you a student or early in your career, looking to gain leadership skills, contribute to environmental solutions, and build community through the joy of birding? Well put those binoculars down and look no further, because we have the perfect program for you.
The Coastal Leadership Program is a free Audubon program geared towards supporting the next generation of coastal stewards in LA County.
Through a diverse range of opportunities to learn new things - from hands-on habitat restoration for endangered shorebirds, to enjoying birdwatching and community building – participants will gain a well-rounded understanding of the challenges coastal ecosystems face and participate in some incredible solutions being implemented.
Whether you have been involved in conservation and birding for years or are just getting started, we welcome all backgrounds and levels of experience to apply and join our flock!
Our mission is to foster a safe, inclusive environment where participants can explore their passions, be part of a supportive community dedicated to making a difference, and acquire the skills needed to address the impacts of climate change on coastal habitats.
