Our colleagues at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary recently held a volunteer bird banding event and got some great birds. Among the finds were Spotted Towhee, Orange-crowned Warbler, Bewick's Wren, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Yellow-rumped Warbler and Chestnut-back Chickadee -- a total of 34 birds in all. And, of course, they were all sent on their way after being banded and recorded. See below for larger versions. (Photo of the Orange-crowned Warbler being released by Josh Beck)
