Organizers of the 13th annual Central Valley Birding Symposium say that the event is filling up fast. The event, hosted by the Central Valley Bird Club, will be held Nov. 19 to 22 at the Stockton Hilton Hotel in Stockton. Looks as though there are all sorts of great workshops and excursions. Among the presenters at this year's event is Audubon California's own Rodd Kelsey, who will be talking about "Red Crossbills Ecology & Species Complex.” A number of Audubon chapters will also be on hand.
