One of the most fascinating stories coming out of the bird conservation world in recent years has been the ongoing story of the Ivory-billed Woodpecker, and the seductive hope that this bird that was thought lost forever, might still be out there somewhere. This story is told well in the movie "Ghost Bird," which is showing tonight (8p.m. PT/ET) on the Documentary Channel. If you haven't seen the film, this is a great chance. Here's a preview:
