With the Department of Commerce meeting coming up on Sept. 22 to take public testimony on the proposed Orange County toll road extension, this seemed like a good time to revisit this NRDC video of Clint Eastwood talking about the importance of preserving San Onofre State Beach. While Audubon California opposes the toll road extenstion because of its unacceptable impact on valuable habitat, we are also concerned that the project would divide and probably destroy this valuable state park.
