Bobcat Ranch Open Hike

Meeting Location: Deck in front of Steady Eddies, 5 E Main St # A, Winters, CA 95694-1788 (directions)
Wildlife Specialist Karen Velas and Maureen Geiger of Sacramento Audubon, will lead a birding hike from the Bobcat Ranch Headquarters along ranch roads through the rolling blue oak woodlands of the ranch. The group will carpool to the trail head. Please bring binoculars, sturdy waterproof hiking boors, drinking water and a snack. This trip involves moderate hiking on fairly level ground. We’ll look for wintering birds and other wildlife, discuss habitat restoration efforts and sustainable grazing, and enjoy views of the Valley.
