NPR's Marketplace today is airing a piece about Audubon's efforts to connect with new audiences through, among other things, social media and blogs like this one. But it's obviously more than just using the hip new tools. It's about connecting people to the wonders of nature around them. And that's something that anyone should be able to buy into. The reporter joined along on a birding trip around the Audubon Center at Debs Park in Los Angeles, and hung out for a while at our recent Beer and Bangers for the Birds event at the G2 Gallery in Venice.
