The Audubon Christmas Bird Count hit one of California's most spectacular landscapes today, the Tejon Ranch. You might recall that this is a new count, enabled by 2008's landmark Tejon Ranch Agreement, which opened up this incredible landscape to science. Anyway, our Audubon Christmas Bird Count correspondent Alison Sheehey took these on the ranch's south side:
