As you know, Audubon California sponsored a statewide survey of Yellow-billed Magpies June 5-8. We're still adding up the reports, but here's what we have so far: 167 checklists have been submitted for magpies, and almost 1,500 birds counted. Inside this data, we're seeing some very interesting locations. Results are still trickling in -- if you haven't submitted your results yet, please do so by June 19. We'll then put up the results and maps showing your efforts. We'll also email the report to all participants. (photo by Glen Tepke)
