Sacramento’s primary energy provider has pulled out of a proposed plan to build a new transmission corridor across the Sacramento Valley. While Audubon California is very much in favor of renewable energy – and we know that it has to get to urban areas somehow – we were among the many conservation groups concerned that this project was launched with limited input from the public.
