The Golden Gate Audubon Society and other local groups are weighing in with concerns about a plan to install artificial turf and lights in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. Representatives of the chapter are concerned that the project will impact the birds and other wildlife that take advantage of the habitat in and around the proposed site, and want the city to conduct an environmental review before starting construction.
