For the last few weeks, we've been talking about a growing disaster for birds at the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge, where dwindling water supplies have left thousands, if not millions, of migrating waterfowl at risk for disease and starvation. So far, more than 20,000 birds have died, and the number is growing. We've been working with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation to release more water into the Refuge, but we haven't been able to get what the birds need. Now we need your help. An email from you to Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar could make a difference. Send your email right now.
