Sure, this video doesn't have much to do with California, but it is kind of cool to see Audubon's own John Flicker out there in the cold with the other volunteers in Central Park. Besides, it drives home the point that birds and nature aren't just things for the remote wilderness, but things that we encounter even in the most urban environments. Even in New York City. And that's a message that all of us in California need to remember as well.
