Of course we've heard this before, but the Times is now suggesting that a decision from the Commerce Department on the fate of the proposed extension of the Foothill South toll road in Orange County could come within days. This is an easy prediction to make, as this decision has to be made by Jan. 5 either way. Again, for the record, Audubon California is staunchly against this proposed freeway extension.
