The 11-year-old girl who inspired the entire nation by using her own paintings to raise awareness about the plight of birds in the Gulf oil spill last year is coming to California. Olivia Bouler ultimately raised more than $150,000 for Audubon’s Gulf oil spill recovery efforts, and is now touring the country to talk about her experience and promote a new book of drawings that she is releasing in collaboration with Audubon. The book is called "Olivia's Birds: Saving the Gulf." She will be appearing in El Cerrito, San Carolos, and Los Angeles in the next week. Locations and dates are below the fold. If you live nearby to one of these stops on her book tour, don't miss the opportunity to meet Olivia. (pictured above, Audubon President David Yarnold with Olivia Bouler)
