Audubon chapters and state offices in the Pacific Flyway, joined by the California Waterfowl Association and Washington Brant Foundation, thanked Secretary of Interior Sally Jewell for her science-based decision to keep Izembek National Wildlife Refuge intact. Nearly the entire world population of Pacific Brant rely on Izembek during spring and fall migration.
