As we mentioned a while back, the Legislature's Budget Conference Committee has voted to support a Public Parks Access Pass -- essentially a $15 vehicle tax -- as a way to support California State Parks once general fund support is removed. Parks supporters led by the California State Parks Foundation are rallying around the proposal, encouraging people to write letters and make phone calls.
