Today’s firstbird poll was, again, totally great. Thanks to everyone that participated. We got about 97 responses in all, and the list of birds is really fantastic. Leading the way this time was the Mourning Dove, spotted San Diego, Fresno, Placerville, North Hollywood and elsewhere. Crows abounded again, but so did the Black Phoebe. Also lots of hawks – and who doesn’t love to look up and see a hawk? Anyway, if you have a moment, take a look at the list below -- there's a story in every sighting.
