Earlier today, we talked about the departure of Sandhill Cranes from California's Central Valley for breeding grounds in the north. The photo above was taken just a few days ago on fields near Othello Washington, where the birds are just arriving. Just in time for the Othello Sandhill Crane Festival later this month.
