Stanislaus Audubon President Salvatore Salerno penned a great opinion piece in the Modesto Bee a few days ago making a strong argument for the restoration of the San Joaquin. As you may know, Congress approved the San Joaquin River Restoration Program in 2009. Audubon California, our chapters in the San Joaquin Valley, and a bunch of partnering organizations are asking people to let their elected leaders know that we support the restoration.
