As we discussed last week, a shortage of water in the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge is presenting serious problems for migratory waterfowl, who use this important location as a stopover in their northward migration in the spring. The Sacramento Bee over the weekend ran a detailed article detailing the crisis, and today Audubon California's Dan Taylor authors an opinion piece in the Record-Searchlight arguing that doing nothing is not an option.
