We did it! Audubon Flocked Together for Virtual Advocacy Day 2022

This year is one for the books.

Wow, we did it! On August 3, 2022, Audubon members from across California flocked together to meet with 45 legislators to advocate for birds and communities.

It was amazing to witness the power of your presence and the passionate messages you delivered to your legislators. You were heartfelt and brilliant. Our state legislators heard Audubon members loudly and clearly across California!

Together, we raised our voices for game-changing bills for grassland birds, equitable access to nature, climate accountability, light pollution, and natural climate solutions. This year is one for the books. See pictures here

Your advocacy will protect millions of birds, including the American Kestrel, Western Meadowlark, California Quail, Snowy Plover, Western Bluebird, Acorn Woodpecker, Tricolored Blackbird, Allen’s Hummingbird, and Red-tailed Hawk.

Thank you for your leadership in protecting California's birds and the places we all need to thrive. We look forward to seeing you again at Audubon Advocacy Day next year!
