Save the Bay is alerting the public to the ongoing problem of plastic bags in San Francisco Bay. This is occurring despite the city's ban on the use of such bags, and the increase in people bringing their own bags to the grocery store. Although the bags in the Bay present a lot of ecological danger, they are particularly problematic for the millions of birds that rely on these waters.
