Elizabeth Goldstein of the California State Parks Foundation is telling everyone that the Governor's recent announcement of a "reprieve" for parks is "nothing but a shell game." She notes that the money is still being cut from the parks, but that instead of forcing the closure at 100 parks, services will now be cut dramatically at every park in the system.
