Back in January, Audubon California's Executive Director Graham Chisholm traveled to Myanmar as part of an expedition to find the rare Spoon-billed Sandpiper. He reported on that trip here. Just recently, we discovered this great footage of the bird on YouTube, captured by another expedition to Russia. Of course all of this has very little to do with California, but we can't help but share this great footage. Bear in mind that only about 500 of these birds may exist.
