Our staff at the Richardson Bay Audubon Center & Sanctuary see a lot of leopard sharks as we try to enhance the habitat in the bay. They're fun (see above). Lately, we're noticed a few leopard sharks in the water that seem to be either sick or acting oddly. There was news a while back about the sharks being reported sick in other parts of the bay, and we’re wondering if this is connected. If you see sharks acting oddly in the bay, please let us know. We are monitoring, and talking to other scientists about it.
