If bird migration is one of the great wonders of nature, then the travels of Vaux's Swifts has to be one of migration's greatest spectacles. To see a giant flock of swifts coming into roost for the night is amazing. For years, Audubon chapters, centers and programs have been documenting and sharing this wonder. Now, on our new website West Coast Swifts, you can see what Audubon is doing for these birds all along the flyway. Learn about all the sightings, and get inside information on all the upcoming events. Check it out. (photo of Vaux's Swifts in downtown Los Angeles by Martha Benedict)
