Anna Valcárcel joins the Audubon Center at Debs Park as our new Teacher Naturalist. Anna is a southern California native who has a life-long connection with California’s natural places. She holds a Master’s Degree in Biology from California State University, Long Beach. She has extensive experience doing bird related field work, both here and in South America. She has also taught people of all ages about the environment. Anna will be working with the Arroyo Green Team, spring and summer camps, and school programs.
