Gov. Jerry Brown today said that he would like to use $20 million of the $54 million recently discovered in special accounts managed by California State Parks officials to keep parks open and make critical infrastructure repairs:
Brown wants to drain the $20 million found in the state Parks and Recreation fund to help pay for parks operations, but will not touch more than $30 million in a separate account dedicated to off-highway vehicle use on state lands.
