Great Gray Owls seem to be starting another winter invasion of the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. Normally, you may be lucky to spot one of these impressive boreal predators in a winter. So far, 8 have already made appearances in the Kenai area. Last winter, at least 20 Great Gray Owls put on a spectacle for most of the season. Previously only a handful had ever been seen.
