A coalition of environmental groups has filed a lawsuit aimed at halting the deaths of migratory Cliff Swallows at a Caltrans bridge construction project in Petaluma. Audubon chapters are among those signing on to the lawsuit. Audubon California recently issued a statement calling on Caltrans to take steps to avoid the deaths of the birds.
