The California Fish and Game Commission on May 14 will hear testimony on a proposed protection plan for birds and habitat along the state’s North Central Coast – from Point Arena in Mendocino County down to Pigeon Point in San Mateo County. Audubon California supports this proposal because it creates essential protections for a number of important seabirds, particularly Common Murre, Tufted Puffin, Brandt’s Cormorant, Ashy-Storm-Petrel, and Brown Pelican – to name just a few. This is a big step in the right direction for birds and wildlife along the North Central Coast. Send an email right now to the Commission to voice your support for the plan.
