The Los Angeles Times reports that one state park on the list of potential closures is Oceano Dunes, a popular seaside site for off-roaders. Problem is, this is one area that some conservationists wish would be closed, because they fear that continued off-roading will diminish the breeding Western Snowy Plovers there.
