The Coastal Leadership Program is a free Audubon program geared towards supporting the next generation of coastal stewards in LA County. Participants gain leadership skills, contribute to environmental solutions, and build community through the joy of birding.
Through a diverse range of opportunities to learn new things - from hands-on habitat restoration for endangered shorebirds, to enjoying birdwatching and community building – participants will gain a well-rounded understanding of the challenges coastal ecosystems face and participate in some incredible solutions being implemented.
Our mission is to foster a safe, inclusive environment where participants can explore their passions, be part of a supportive community dedicated to making a difference, and acquire the skills needed to address the impacts of climate change on coastal habitats.
The 2024 program application window is now closed. Excited to join the next cohort? Consider filling out our CLP Interest Form HERE!
