A while back we mentioned that the Yurok Tribe of Northern California was considering reintroducing the California Condor to tribal lands. Well, they're still at it, and with a grant from the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service to do initial testing, this looks like it could happen. Condors have not flown over the north coast of California since 1914.
